Art of the Digital Age, Ch 7-9

The first piece that caught my attention was the piece by Cory Arcangel entitled I Shot Andy Warhol, simply because it's a video game which includes characters that were not in the original game which is quite humorous. It's impressive that Arcangel manipulated the video game which sounds interesting but I know that it probably took a while. Another piece I thought was interesting was the piece by Kathleen Ruiz entitled Bang, Bang (You're Not Dead) mainly because your required to shoot people but the weapon brings life which is a very cool concept because life is precious and games know a days video games promote violence and death. Another art piece that I thought was interesting was by Lynn Hershman Leeson entitled Agent Ruby's Dream Portal and I talked with the AI which was very interesting but over time the conversation was confusing, as if the AI didn't understand what I was saying. But it would be so awesome if someone developed a very smart AI to communicate with you similar to sci-fi movies or more like the AI character Jarvis in the Ironman movies.
