Cinema Vérité Project
For this project we were required to shoot footage and compose various shots that could be related to tell a story. Once I got my camera I thought about various locations where I could compose different shots and my dogs were going to be my first target since my brother and I have so many why not show their cuteness on camera. After completing my first draft of my Cinema Vérité using my dogs I later thought about attaching a go pro to one of my dogs so that the point of view would be from my dogs perspective which could be reserved for one of my future art projects. This lead me to my 2nd Cinema Vérité video that I decided to go with because when I shot it I already had the concept in my mind. My backyard was filled with a lot of junk and interesting stuff and composing the man-made and organic shots would fit perfectly with what I had in mind. Once I composed my shots I edited them along with the sound from http://www.bensound.com/ and it really gave it the tone I wanted. My tone for the video is that everything in this world either man-made or organic will pass away in the end but that which is not seen is eternal. I also had the bible verse in mind and once I watched the video a couple of times I knew that it would fit perfectly. Here is my Cinema Vérité: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SalHw_FaMjU
